Hey there.

I'm trying to install the newest software and the installation is stuck at 79%. Any idea what's going on/what should I do?

Yes, AMD can drive people crazy sometimes. Even though I have been updating it over and over again since morning, there is no improvement.

Check if you have a windows update, that seemed to fix it for me.

I gave up and went to https://www.amd.com/en/support

downloaded and installed it from there, overwriting the previous version that wouldn't update.

in my case nothing happned, So issue was with my os or software so i thought to downgrade it to 23.3.1 for my (rx6600) and installetion was stuck to 87%. I kept it whole night still it was stuck to 87%. So I downloaded it to latest version 24.5.1 and hit installation and stuck to 49%.  I gave up, i tried disable antivirus, reboot every thing, Nothing happnes, So i downloaded software which automitically ditect hardware and install appropriate software for it and it was stuck to 87%.

Had to manually download and install it.
