Greetings!
Yesterday I updated my Radeon Software driver to the version 22.2.2 and now I have started experiencing screen flickering while scrolling through a web browser. It happens both on Edge and Chrome. It only happens on websites that have media stuff on pages like videos, for example Twitter and Facebook. Also, on YouTube, when I watch a video if I scroll down while the video is playing the moment video goes off screen there is a small, brief flicker.
I have a 2 monitor setup and it only happens on my main monitor, even when scrolling that stuff through the second monitor the main one is flickering. Monitors aren't connected the same, one is HDMI and the other one is DisplayPort.
Is anyone else having the same issue after updating to 22.2.2? Is it perhaps something in settings that is causing this or should I just wait for another update and hope it's fixed? Doing a clean driver reinstall did not help, considering going back to 22.2.1.
Windows 10, RX 6700XT
I went back to 22.2.1 (most previous version) and the issue is resolved. So I guess I'll be avoiding 22.2.2 and hopefully the next version does not have this happen.
Got the same issueabout a month ago, but on Windows 11, driver 21.10.2
When i rolled back to Windows 10, everything worked perfectly fine
BUMP! I updated to 22.2.3 and now the problem is back again. So both 22.2.2 and 22.2.3 cause the flickering. Now I don't want to roll back because this latest one adds support for Elden Ring and I'm worried it may affect games performance
Disabling Hardware Acceleration in Chrome settings seems to fix the issue. But the fact that it is only happening on the two latest driver versions is strange.
issue still present on 22.3.1
