Actually windows 10 throws a fit about not installing this unsigned driver.

Unsigned means beta. Non WHQL. Which 20.9.1 is. It's ok to click "Install this driver anyway"

If you don't believe me (and it seems you don't) google it. You'll find out what an unsigned non-whql driver is and it's exactly what I've said it was.

AMD signs all of the drivers it distributes with an updated and valid certificate. After this process is finished, the signed driver sent to Microsoft is signed by Microsoft and falls into the WHQL signed class. In short, drivers distributed by AMD do not give a signature error. Your system's ROOT certificates are damaged or the system date is incorrect. In short this is the situation...
