Hello everyone, 

I thought I would share my recent AMD PC build with you all. I rebuilt my PC from a mid tower case to a mini tower a few weeks ago and I have been rather impressed with the cooling performance for having much less volume to work with. The mini tower also fits perfectly on my desk whereas the previous mid tower was a bit too big. Below are the specs and some pictures for you to enjoy.

For those interested, the 5800x3d is running at a negative - 30 offset with the help of the third party program "PBO2" (as the PBO options in the bios are hidden). This is well worth your time to setup, which it doesn't take long at all. I have noticed lower temps, power usage, and the ability to maintain the max boost clock throughout my gaming session, than compared to stock. 

The AMD Reference GPU is undervolted 0.920 V and, so far, has been stable for the past two months. This cut about 45 to 50 w of power usage from stock and keeps the card quiet and cool during heavy game play.

I also run a free program called "Fan Control" that works quite well but can be tricky to get setup properly. This enables me to have custom fan curves that follow the CPU temperature and can dynamically adjust all the case fans to the current real time load of the CPU. Instead of the fans running at 100% all the time, they adjust themselves accordingly and is now a must on all my PC builds I have made for myself and family members and friends.

• RAM: XPG Spectrix D60G RGB 32GB DDR 4 3200 Mhz CL16
• GPU: AMD Reference RX 6800
• PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P5 750w Platinum 
• Storage: Adata XPG Gammix S70 Blade NVMe M.2 2TB, Kingston NV2 2 TB NVMe M.2 2TB, WD Blue 3d NAND SATA SSD 2TB, ADATA SP550 SATA SSD 250GB
• Other fans: 2 x Noctua NF A12x25 PWM 120mm (Case front), 2 x Noctua NF-A15 PWM 140mm (CPU cooler), 1 x Noctua NF-A14 PWM 140mm (Case top), 1 x be quiet! ARGB Light Wings 120 mm (Case back)
• Other items: 1 x red LED strip at the base of the motherboard to give some light at the bottom of the case and add to the red accent of the AMD Reference GPU.

This is a sweet build. I love Fractal's cases. They have been super easy to work with in my experience, and that cable management is nice. I regret having bought all the RGB nonsense I did for my current gaming PC. The cables are just a mangled mess even if I manage them.

Thanks, I really do enjoy working with the Fractual cases. This one actually has a tinted side window, which, I did not realize until I got home and took the case out of the box. My previous case had a normal glass side panel and I will admit, the RGB was a bit too much at night to the point I had to turn it off. The dark tinted side panel on this case actually cuts down on the RGB lighting to the point I don't find it as intrusive or annoying to my peripheral vision.

My 4000D has the tinted glass and I love it. I still have the RGB clutter from all the cables and the Corsair Commander Core, but at this point I give up on managing all the RGB cables.

I did have the Lian Li Streamer plus for my main motherboard cable and another one for my VGA cables to the GPU. It looked great in my mid tower but was a bit too bright. 

I tried fitting them in my new mini tower but I cant find any reasonable way to fit the cables without it looking terrible so I just took them out. It certainly cut down on the cables in the case overall.
