Ryzen 7000 overclocking and memory overclocking guide

I have not yet upgraded, but have been looking for information about memory scaling, overclocking and how Ryzen 7000 is different from previous ones.

While I would have wanted to see results with faster GPU and perhaps wider variety of software, this guide is probably the most thorough I have encountered

Now it is just a matter of pricing. I find it strange AMD has not adjusted pricing of 7000-series. Is the idea to iron out BIOS issues before trying to achieve more sales or are wafers needed for Epyc, I don't know, but clock is ticking and christmas is coming. Decisions will have to be made soon and with current pricing here.... nope.

For gaming 5800x3d is beast. In local shops price did fall for around 130e after ryzen 7000 series release. My target is 5800x3d and its doing great on tests against 13600k and ryzen 7600x cpu.

While gaming is one reason I need as fast CPU, it is not the only one. Besides building, testing and benchmarking new things is part of the fun for me. Also as I'm passing my current setup to someone who needs it, I have to buy basically everything anyway, and just don't find myself too interested in investing to DDR4 motherboards or sticks anymore. If I only needed a new CPU, it might be different, but I need a new CPU, GPU, PSU and memory anyway.

EDIT: if 5950X was reasonably priced, it could be an option, but it cost 700€ here! Same as 7900X only a bit less than 13900K.
