Hi :). I may have some problems with my processor on a new pre-assembled PC with 5600x. In idle with amd ryzen master temperature is around 47 C degrees, while in stress test max 70 C degrees. In games with settings medium/high it also reached 88 C degrees.... Can you please tell me if it's a serious problem and what to do? Thanks
PS: I put this in this section and not in PC processors because it doesn't let me put it in that category.
Update: the day after (today), in idle it is at 37 C degrees. Maybe it was only the fact that it is new and if it is turned on for too much time it warms up too much.
However if you can help, it's better
Your CPU temperatures are highly dependent on the CPU cooler you are using. If you use the stock CPU cooler, your temperatures will be noticeably higher, but if you use a good AIO (All in One) CPU cooler, then you should be much lower temperatures during idle and under load. An idle temperature of 37 C is fine, but an idle temperature of 47 C is a little high. If you want your CPU to last a long time, then controlling the temperature is an important concern. For most of my recent builds (see here), I tend to use AIO CPU coolers for their efficiency in keeping the CPU cooler than air coolers.
Thank you. I thought about buying a better coller, maybe liquid. The bad fact is that i just spent money for this and i have to buy another one :/. But ok, thank you again
just upgrade your cpu cooler man 🙂
