Hello,

I just built a new pc and cannot move on over vga check. Even when I disassembled the VGA card still the CPU graphics not works. DRAM, CPU light comes and passing then stopping at VGA check lamp and stays on and nothing visible on the monitor, looks no output. BIOS refreshed on motherboard through USB stick.

MB - ASUS TUF GAMING B650M-E WIFI

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X

RAM - KINGSTON FURY 2X16GB - KF556C36BBEK2-32

GPU - POWERCOLOR AMD RADEON RX7800XT

PSU - Seasonic BC-850 (850W) - 80 Plus Bronze

SSD-KINGSTON FURY SFYRS/1000G

First of all, do bear in mind that the first boot on many AM5 systems can take quite a while. So allow about fifteen minutes for that. Do you have a different GPU that you can use? If not, try with one RAM stick, in different slots, at a time first. If that doesn't change anything, if you can reverse the BIOS update and then try connecting the monitor to the iGPU via the motherboard to see if that then works. Set the BIOS to defaults if you get in and see if it boots. Then install the GPU and again see if it then boots. Then disable CSM, enable SAM and secure boot and so on and reboot.

As @johnukguy said, you need to wait a bit for AM5 systems to initialize.  It was a surprise to me on the first one I built too.  I was so used to the quick AM4 build start up that I figured that I forgot to plug something in.  

That being said, if you are stuck at the VGA fail LED, then I would first try clearing the CMOS once you power down again.  Pull the CMOS battery for a few minutes after you pull the PSU power cable.  Clearing the CMOS after a BIOS update is good practice.

Hello Together!

Thanks your help. In between I was able to manage it. The problem was the monitor ir the DVI cable. When I was moved the pc close to my old LCD tv with the hdmi cable it started to work. The test passed and not stopped anymore at VGA check lamp. 

I still need to figure out what is wrong, my old monitor or the newly bought cable. I am guessing the monitor.

Sorry to asked and not infromed you back asap. Since the win11 is running and no issue with any components anymore, just still the monitor, but I can manage this.
