Black Screen and freeze for 3-5 seconds

Hello (I am Portuguese, sorry for my English)

I have built a new pc and am having some major problems with the screen going black while the system freeze 3-5 seconds (but the sound keeps playing), until it comes back, and keeps repeating this situations to the point the AMD Bug Report pops up and the systems stops the graphic driver.

The system.

Ryzen 7600

MOBO MSI x670e gaming plus WIFI

Ram G.Skill Trident Z5 F5-6000J4040F16x2-TZ5RS   CL40-40-40-96 1.35v

Crucial T500

Thermalright peerless assassin 120

3 x Be quiet Wing 120

Seasonic 850w Modular (Not the 3.0)

Case Jonsbo D41 Screen

Screen HP 24.8 inch FHD 165Hz Gaming Monitor Omen

==>>((( NO GPU ))) <<==

Sooo..What have i Tried..A LOT

First Windows install was 11 Pro.

Did Every driver download before in another computer to a pen drive.

CPU Driver direct from AMD site. And the Adrenalin Edition (the last one 24.9.1). Did a full Install.

MOBO driver from MSI. The last BIOS (not the Beta), but in this install i did not updated the bios because the one on the MOBO was only 1.5 months older. Did downloas the BT, WIFI, Lan, And Realtech Sound drivers.

So in this install, the moment i conclude the Adrenalin install, the screen starts to "flip" and the black screen with the freeze for 3-5 seconds until it comes back (goes and repeat, and the systems shuts the graphic driver off. Different Errors (Code 22, 31 most, 44).

Tried the DDU Unistall in Safe Mode, did a Re install of the same driver but with the factory reset option checked. Then got a BSOD. Uninstalled the driver, and did a Sfc /scannow with the Health cmd next.

Did another driver 24.3.1, but same problem.

Again DDU Uninstall, and decided to uninstall graphic on the device manager and desible it next....but same screen problem.

Did a Full Format and Installed Windows 10 Home.

(Hope my English is readable)

To Keep it short.

Windows 10 Home and did all of the above...same problem. Did a win 11 update from 10. Same.

Did a full Restore..Same, Between it doind all the uninstall and roll back, and tried differents versions of the Driver.

NOTE: everytime i uninstalled the driver i had NO BLACK SCREEN PROBLEM.

The Adrenalin software gives me the pa-300 code error when the system shuts the graphic driver off, but in rare ocasion, while the screens goes black, i could open the Adrenalin for a small moment. Same with gaming (dying Light, FO New Vegas, Stone Shard, Rust), but the moment the error shuts the driver off, if i try to run a game, it closes the windows/menu back to the windows screen.

Specific thing i have tried...uggg.

Windows 10 Home, Pro and Windows 11 Pro (All in clean install, and one Updating to 11 from 10)

Full System Restore.

Policy Plus and checked Windows Update Disable and the one to not include the graphic drivers Enabled, before Internet Connection on 2 Clean Windows Install (10 and 11)

did the MPO Disable

And the basic Windows Update Automatic off choice on the Advance Settings.

Did on full Install where i let the windows Update EVERYTHING before i intall any Drive (Just the WIFI before it).

Did the Update From device Manager where i chose the location, and the odd is even with a newer driver from Adrenalin, it says it is "up to date" (dont remember in english).

In Adrenalin Did Full Intall to Only Drivers.

Free Sync Off

No EXPO ram Enable.

BIOS with default (and with MBO disable, because the default has it enable)

Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall.meta to deal with the Advanced Micro Devices Display (Tha many say it is the problem).

And did some more thing tha doesnt come to mind on the moment.

This is a project that took 2 years to became a reality. And it has stressed me a lot this past 2 weeks.

Days and nights searching and reading and everytime i find something new to try, it does not work.

Any help would be tremendously (had to search for this one) Appreciated (didnt have to search for this one).

PS: I accept being corrected with my writing 😉

Crazy working hours but will try to reply to everyone. Thanks

So, you are running on just the integrated graphics of the CPU.  That means you might be using an HDMI cable to the monitor?  Is there a way to use a Display Port cable with your motherboard?  Either way, I would try swapping around some monitor cables to see if maybe you have a bad one.

If that has no effect, I would try lowering the refresh rate (in the Windows Display settings) to something around 100 Hz, and see if the problem goes away.

Do these things with the latest Adrenalin driver (24.10.1) installed.

As Albert Einstein said, "I could have done so much more with a Big Al's Computer!".
