Hello everyone, there is a Ryzen5 2600 CPU, the 2-channel RAM mode stopped working, I tested it on my old Ryzen 5 2600 with another defect, the 2-channel RAM mode works there, can it be cured or not?
Mixed brands of RAM is never a good idea. With memory so cheap, I would get two sticks of the same RAM for a total of 16 GB. However, you can try swapping around the sticks in your first machine to see if you can find a combo that works, or you can try relaxing the memory speed settings to see if that helps.
The memory that Kingston bought after corsair and AMD, Kingston RAM are the same, and if Kingston is run in 2-channel mode, it turns out 1 channel and 8gb in total. is there anything that can be fixed with the CPU?
Not with the CPU to the best of my knowledge. I would turn off AMD EXPO and XMP profiles to see if the default settings work.
Perhaps you want to try swapping the CPUs if they are indeed the same ones? I would not bother - I would just buy a matched pair of memory sticks that total 16 GB and call it a day. Save the old memory sticks for another computer.
Yeah, mixing and matching RAM can be detrimental to the performance of the machine. The first thing I would do is find an inexpensive kit from G. Skill, or Team Group, and see if it works with the matching kit.
Otherwise, have you tried a different motherboard to see if it is the problem?
In the photo there are 2 different CPUs, ram is the same
