Good afternoon, I recently built a 7800x3d system. Everything was fine until I mistakenly turned on the cache test in Aida 64. I only turned on the cache and started the test. the temperature increased significantly but did not return. Normal after disabling the test. now, even in the bios, the temperature rises to 95 and above. at the same time, the processor is not loaded and consumes around 20 watts. I don't know what to do with it, I reset the BIOS, disconnected the PC from the system, took the processor out of the socket. it feels like a cache problem. my config: 7800x3d, MSI x670 gaming plus WiFi, thermaltake 1050w, 2x32 gb Kingston Fury beast

Check the AIO pump to ensure it is working. This means not only checking that the motherboard is getting an RPM reading from the pump, but also that the tubing and radiator are getting hot, indicating liquid is moving.
The AIDA64 cache and memory benchmark does not alter or permanently "turn on" anything in the CPU. What cooler and thermal paste are you using? Have you tried to reapply/remount these and verify the cooler is working correctly?
mx-4 thermal paste, id-cooling sl360xe cooling, after I took the processor out of the socket, I replaced the thermal paste and am sure that the cooling is working, since everything was fine for 2 weeks before that

thank you very much, you were right, it turns out that the pump connector on the motherboard is broken and it did not cool the processor, now everything is gone.
Yikes, hope you don't mean everything is gone as in, CPU doesn't work anymore?
no, only the 4-pin connector of the Poma is broken, I switched it to another connector and everything works fine.
Some coolers have a thin plastic peel that should be removed, its easily forgotten. I would take down the cooler, re apply thermal paste.
Share the cooler model so we can advise better.
id-cooling sl360xe cooler, I changed the thermal paste and I'm sure there is no sticker.
