My laptop has intel(HD Graphics 4000) and amd(amd radeon hd 7600m). I use console app with glfw.
For some reason I can't make this console app use amd graphics. I set high performance in ccc for this app but it uses only intel.
Is it working for console apps or not?
Thank you. I've checked and looks like switchable graphics doesn't work at all.
The problem is this hp notebook. It has it's own drivers from hp but they are quite outdated. I'm using drivers from amd and intel but have trouble with installation.
amd driver has an error during installation so i just installed it manually via pointing a folder where it is(inf files) and it installed successfully but now graphics doesn't switch to amd. I don't want to go back to hp drivers because they have bugs.
Actually turns out that switchable graphics works.
I have been confused because intel graphics is showing in dx examples in spite of settings. But performance is changing in heavy applications when i change setting. Another confusion that opencl interop also shows intel everytime but it's the story for other discussion.
