Heyho,

i have some kernel timeout of about 300 to 400 seconds on AMD GCN devices (HD 7750 and R9 Fury X) with Ubuntu 14.04 and Crimson Edition 15.12 driver (fglrx-core).

Does anybody know if there is an known limitation, and how to increase the timeout?

On Windows 7 with newest divers code runs fine.

With Nvidia on Linux and Windows too.

Solved,

driver issue,

just installed fglrx-core_15.201.2-0ubuntu0.14.04.1_amd64.deb from Ubuntu repo,

and it works now fine,

clinfo shows driver version 1800.11, previsously 1912.5

ps: timeout seems now to be 3600 seconds, which is ok for me....
