No GPUs for Sale AT ALL on the AMD Store?!?

I just checked the AMD Store to check their baseline GPU prices.  Imagine my surprise when I found NO GPUs for sale on that store AT ALL.  There's not even a category for them.  I know their next generation of GPUs are nearing availability, but that's still something like 3 weeks away.  Have I gone blind?  Is there a category that I'm somehow missing?  Or, has AMD actually pulled all their GPUs from their store?

Hello, @ardankyaosen

No, you haven't gone blind. We have stopped making reference GPUs a little ago (end of 2024 if I recall correctly), and that is why you don't see them in our store.

I knew AMD was ceding the high-end GPU market to Nvidia.  But, I didn't know they were going to stop producing reference GPUs.  I liked those.

It's been really hard to find a deal on the RX 7900 XT GPU.  I managed to get one (Sapphire Pulse) on Amazon for $649 that arrived two days ago.  Good luck finding one under $1K now.  The new 9000 series should be a good deal, once the supply chain can provide them at retail prices.

AMD confirms RX 9070 reference design cards won't be available, only partner models.

For those holding out to purchase a 9000 series card, performance leaks indicate the 9070XT on par with a 7900GRE with the 9070 non-XT equivalent to a 7800XT.

Well then, I'm happy I just bought a 7900 XT for $649 USD.  Now if a 9070 XT goes for around $500, it would be a deal - but I bet it will be in the $600 to $700 USD range.

I bought my reference model 7900 XTX direct from AMD last year. Not going to bother getting a 9000 series card.

That might be the highest level from AMD for a while.  It's a great card though.

I wonder what the share of reference cards are compared to partner cards. I usually like the design of reference over the others.

Yeah, reference cards are usually fairly elegant and efficiently engineered.  On the other hand, they're designed to fit in the maximum number of cases, so board partner cards sometimes have better cooling.  I'm not sure how I'll go next time.  I have a big case, so I can fit a bigger, quieter cooler if I can find a card at a price that I can feel good about.
