So something pretty crazy happened to me and I'm going to be taking @AFKG-Curtis on a whirlwind trip from Canada to Berlin for a weekend to watch the Euro Cup final on the 14th of July!
I'm wondering if anyone here is from Berlin or might find themselves there as well?
Would love to get your recommendations on all things Berlin, what to do? What to see? What to eat? Where do you get the best German pretzels? 😉
We visited Berlin in 2017 on a Viking Cruise. Check out my web page on Day 9 (Warnemunde / Berlin, Germany) and I recommend you go see Check-Point Charlie, the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag Parliament building.
Thought I would do a quick update to this thread.
Last month @AFKG-Curtis and I went on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Berlin to watch the Euro 2024 Finals of England vs Spain!
This was all thanks to Hisense who sponsored us to go after I won one of their contests (that's right, people actually do win those things!) They provided us with flights, hotel and VIP tickets to the game.
Curtis and I had an amazing time watching the game, and I was extra happy to be cheering on Spain when he was cheering on England!
We also enjoyed Berlin for 48 hours, saw some incredible history, and ate some great foods!
