I am (surprise) developing some code on my 5700U laptop with Linux. I have six atomic lock implementations, yet only one seems to work. That's two "single-bit" locks and four ticket-locks. The data I am acquiring points to a hardware problem, although it could have other explanations. I don't think I'm doing anything stupid, but that's always a possibility.
