Good afternoon, I have an Asus monitor that supports 144 Hz. I have the AMD Radeon R7 200 series graphics card on my computer. When I go to windows display options, it only shows 60 Hz max? I have dual link video cable hooked up, so this should work? What am I missing? I've attached an image of video card specs.
desktop computer, windows 10 64 bit, 8 gb ram, radeon crimson 15, asus vg248 gaming monitor, dual link video cable, amd fx 4300 quad core processor, unsure of power supply. all other info in first picture and more info in this picture here.
I had a look at your Subvendor ID (1682), GPU device ID (6613:00), and BIOS part number and they seem to indicate a XFX R7 240/340. Is it this card? If so then your dual-link DVI cable is actually connected to a single-link DVI port, which is only capable of 1920x1080 (@ 60Hz). You should try an HDMI cable instead.
