Hi guys,

I just bought an MSI RX 5700XT MECH OC (2019Mhz core clock and 875Mhz memory clock) and i'm getting very high temperatures. I have to limit the fps to get the card working only around 60-70% to avoid heat and stuttering @ 144hz

Gpu temperature after 20-30 minute in games @144hz  = 85° Celsius (it's a lot but still fine i guess)
Memory temperature = can reach 95 - 102°Celsius very heasily and this is probably the cause of my stuttering.
Vram = ~88°Celsius

I'm running on:
MSI Z370 Gaming pro carbon AC
i7 8700K (stock speed for now)
2X8 3200mhz RAM G.skill ddr4
PSU : Be qui pure power 10 700w silver.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this please ? I tried on multiple games like RE2 Remake , Hitman 2 and today CoD : Modern Warfare.

Should I underclock the memory clock from 875mhz to something else ?

Guess you never saw any reviews/teardowns on the card, the cooling is not the best.

Honestly, return/rma it so msi gets the message, or swap to one of the better cooled cards.
