I have a game-like Direct3D 11 windowed application running on Win10 with RX6600 (Driver: Driver Version 23.40.27.01-240313a-401413C-AMD-Software-Adrenalin-Edition). The card is connected to a generic 60Hz monitor.
Sometimes, with VSync enabled, the frame rate drops and stays at 30 fps instead of 60 fps. However, with VSync disabled, the game runs at 100 or even 120 fps.
All Adrenalin graphics and performance settings are set to default.
With earlier versions of the driver, this problem could be solved by rebooting the PC or using the 'pnputil /restart-device' command.
With the latest driver, this problem appears and disappears completely randomly. For example, I've had this problem, rebooted the PC, and had the problem again (on a freshly rebooted system). However, when I run GPU-Z, the problem disappears immediately.
