I have a Tuf OC 6800xt, I recently found that it has some weird performance issue. While in Forza Horizon 5, F1 22, and F1 manager 22 menu, yes menu not actually rendering game graphics, the gpu has very high wattage and very high temperature. Especially obvious in F1 22, in its game menu, the gpu is using 300 watt and running at 92 degree C (junc temp), while fan is at 2000+rpm. But when I actually in game, it runs normal 200-250 watt and temp is at 80-85 degree (junc temp). Similar things in FH5 and F1 manager 22, but not as scary as in the temps are still kinda under 90, but the temps are even lower when the game is actually running. So basically, the game will run at absolute wattage limit of the card in menu. All above games are running well on ultra at 144hz 1440p.
Does anyone observe similar issue?
My set up: 12400F + B660, DDR4 3200 8G*2, windows 10 home
