Hey guys, so I just built an all team-red pc around a week ago.
The main specs are as follows:
Ryzen 5 7600
Gigabyte rx 7600 gaming oc
Gigabyte 650w 80+ bronze psu
Gigabyte b650m k motherboard
The problem is that I played around 6-7 games and in half of them the GPU stutters a lot and the constant drops make the game un-playable.
Here is what I tried so far:
But still in some games the drop is noticable and constant.
This has been bugging me and making me regret going with the team red. Any fixes or any settings that can fix this issue??
P.s these are some of the games where the stutters is constant
For example in warzone 2, I saw on yt that this card can achieve 120-130 fps avg on ultra, but it barely reaches that mark and when it stutters it drops to even 30 and 40 fps, similar is the case with God of War
Hi, I think you need to post more specs about your machine.
The stuttering maybe caused by lots of things, here, have a look at this video.
(its not mine, but from a fellow countrymen)
Okay here are the full specs:
• Amd Ryzen 5 - 7600 Processor.
• Gigabyte B650 MK Motherboard.
• Gigabyte RX7600 - 8 Gb Radeon Graphoc Card. • XPG Lancer RGB 16Gb 6000 Mhz 16 Gb DDR5.
• Corsair H100 RGB 240MM All In One Liquid Cooler.
• MSI M461 500GB Gen 4 SSD.
• Ant Esport 510 AIR Rgb Case.
• Gigabyte P650 80 Plus Bronze Powersupply
I have almost the same specs as you and I'm having the same issues on CS Go and Hogwarts Legacy.
Adjusting the Frequency and Power on AMD software can stall the issue and make the game work for a little longer, but it is still freezing the screen until I hard reset the computed.
I have checked the temperature on CPU and GPU and both don't go over 60 Cº
I don't know what else to try, if you figure it out, please let me know!
@henriquemezzabarba on Instagram or post the resolution here.
I have the same issue.
My PC:
Intel 12400F
New Samsung 980 1TB SSD
MSI B660 Mortar MB
EVGA GA600W PSU
32GB DDR4 3200
Fresh Windows 11 Install.
With this card I get 4-5 second lockups in WoW, SC2, COD: MW etc, all my games lockup.
I put my RX580 back in and I have no issues.
Mine is the reference card from AMD using the latest drivers.
Did you find a solution?
In your bios enable rebar and make sure above 4g decoding is enabled aswell. Once these are enabled, go check in the amd control center under tuning and check to see if amd smart access memory is enabled, if not enable it.
having SAM gives the cpu the ability to access the gpu’s whole memory rather than chunks of 256MBs. Which makes it stutter.
Can confirm that this works, recently got a RX 7600 OC, this does the trick, and perfectly explains why the GPU goes over what it can actually do.
