RX 6950 XT High Idle Power Draw

Hi folks,

I have an RX 6950 XT powering dual monitors (specs below) and with one monitor at 165Hz I get an idle power draw of 40W as read by GPU-Z. When the refresh rate is lowered to 60Hz, my idle power draw is  ~10W.  (The second monitor is at 60 Hz already).

Is this the expected value to get when running at this refresh rate? - it seems high when idle to me.

If this is an issue, is this the correct place to bring this issue to be addressed in a future driver revision?

I am working through other random crash issues with this card, and my thought is everything may be related to power draw, so I put in a second PCIE power cable to run the second 8-pin port rather than the daisy chained one I had.

AOC Monitor is the culprit at 165Hz.

Second monitor (no issues)

Thank you.
