After replacing the RX 590 with the RX 6700 XT, i am experiencing stuttering.
As soon as i sign in in Windows ill notice it when moving my mouse left to right. It stutters or looks like ist at 15fps. Not to mention gaming... It also seems to slow down any other application.
The only temporary fix seems a reboot. But the next time ill turn it on its back. Chances of stuttering are about 50/50.
- removed the old RX 590 drivers (DDU) and installed the latest directly from AMD site,
- latest "Auto-detect and install updates for Radeon" did his thing but no fix,
- tried various BIOS changes
If anyone has some recommendations or can point me at what to look for, im all ears.
EDIT:
With CoD Cold war, while waiting in the online lobby, FPS are usually about 88 FPS. When stuttering happens, its between 36- 42 FPS
