RX 6600 XT dual monitor issue

Hello.

Ever since I changed my GPU to AMD (Radeon RX 6600 XT), I have an issue when using 2 screens. Every now and then (randomly, like every 5-10 minutes, but sometimes more often than that) I hear a windows sound that something connected (or sometimes disconnected) and the following thing happens: while in game my fps drops and my mouse can move to the other screen. It's like it alt-tabbed for me. The screen doesn't turn off for even a millisecond, but the FPS clearly drops. Can anyone help me figure this out, I'm losing my mind.

Other specs:

CPU 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700F 2.10 GHz

OS: Windows 11, fully updated, cleanly installed a week ago (problems started before that), so no NVIDIA driver conflict (I used to think that is the issue).

GPU uses the newest driver, but I had this issue with older ones as well.

I use two of the same screens, ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q. One of them is connected with DP, the other with HDMI (but it used to be both DP and still had the problem).

What I've tried:

- Plugging the cable in another port of the GPU

- Changing from DP to HDMI

- Changing all the cables to new one.

Can someone point out what could be the issue? I saw some reddit threads with people having the same issue, but zero answers...
