RX 5700 XT black screen issues

Heya guys, I know there've been quite some posts regarding driver issues and whatnot about the RX 5700 XT but I have yet to find a post with the same issue as I have.

Every time I open something that is (I think) hardware accelerated (probably) my GPU crashes and closes the program if it can and if it can't it will just block the program from accessing the GPU at all.

Now, I tried to open the Radeon Settings to change some things because I read that underclocking might solve some issues regarding crashes, only to find out that application is also affected by the crashing driver...

I've uninstalled the drivers with DDU multiple times and tried it with the 19.7.5 drivers as well as the most recent one and it changes nothing at all.

Also did a clean install of windows a couple of times now.

Everything was fine and running normally untill I played some Destiny 2 a few days ago and it crashed. I could play all the games I wanted (including WoW, Destiny 2, Conan Exiles etc). Now, it only runs normal and modded minecraft without crashing... Keeps me occupied for the time being I guess...

The only thing I currently have OC is the CPU and RAM but setting it back to default in all scenarios changed nothing regarding the black screen crashes I get.

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT PULSE

CPU: Intel i5 9600K

Motherboard: Z390 Aorus Pro

RAM: Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX 2x8GB 3600

PSU: Corsair RM650x Gold

Operating System & Version: Windows 10 Pro

GPU Drivers: Radeon Software Andernalin 2019 Edition 19.9.2

I also did some memory tests to be sure my RAM was fine, everythings okay on that side.

Also did some disk checks, nothing wrong there either.

The imgur link contains screencaps of the card in action while *drum ruf* playing a video on YouTube.

Thanks in advance.

Any word on this?

I've been trying to play a few games. Apex Legends being the main one. And I keep getting this microstutter. This is getting ridiculous because I took my gtx 970 that I gave to my girlfriend and put it back in my system and it runs flawlessly, much more smooth than my 5700 xt. im honestly regretting my purchase... I havent heard any word on a fix to this all I see are members posting they have issues and no word from amd.

I seem to have it "stable" so far. What I've done is connect 2 cables from the PSU to the GPU.

It seems to be that it did not get enough power from the PSU with one cable.

Can you give an update about this. Have you gotten the black screen issue since making the change, even briefly? I think that power and factory overclocking are the root causes of the "black screen" issue on any video card.

I explain in more detail here.

For anyone else with a similar problem, if the card isn't stable enough to access the software in order to underclock it then you might consider exchanging the card for one that is NOT factory overclocked. See the list of cards at videocardz.net and pick one that has only numbers in black for the core and memory clock rates. Green colored clock rates are not reference rates and seem to be prone to "black screen", crash to desktop and artifact problems unless they're underclocked.
