RX 5700: can't select 4:2:2 pixel format &10 bpc, but can select 4:4:4 & 8 bpc (more bandwidth)

I have a TV that supports HDMI 2.0 and has a 10-bit panel.

Just as the subject says, when I select YCbCr 4:2:2 pixel format in Radeon Software, I can't select a color depth higher than 8-bit.  However I can select RGB 4:4:4 with 8-bit, which actually has a higher bandwidth.

Is there a workaround so that I can use 4:2:2 with 10-bit bpc?

To clarify, I can select a higher color depth but after the screen goes blank for a few seconds, it falls back to 8 bpc.
