Radeon RX550/550 Series not working for Valorant

I've been playing valorant for a couple of years now but only switched to a computer a couple months ago (I was using a laptop before). When I first got my PC valorant worked completely fine and I didn't have any issues until recently. The game suddenly freezes my whole PC and I had to Restart it every time I tried to open Valorant. I checked my CPU and GPU and they all seem to be up to the requirement for the game, so I was wondering if anyone else with the same GPU was having issues with this as well.

Are you on Windows 11? If so you'll need to have TPM 2.0 and UEFI Secure Boot turned on.

It could be corrupted files or memory errors. Have you tried reinstalling the game or verifying file integrity? That would be my next step.

It's hardware acceleration. This is an old bug that has resurfaced. Disable hardware acceleration on any app that uses it that you have running in the background. Chrome, Steam, Origin, Battle.net, Discord, all of those use hardware acceleration.

I have a thread here that explains it more.

Thanks for having a successful workaround.
