I am trying to get 4 extended monitors to work. I originally only had 2. I researched it and got a DisplayPort 1.2 MST Hub. I bought all 'active' adapters to go from DisplayPort to HDMI. Through this I was able to get a 3rd monitor to work and a 4th monitor to show up in Display settings. However the 4th monitor is 'Deactivated' and I cannot do anything to activate it.
I deleted the driver and reinstalled the default version on AMD's website: Version 22.6.1. I am using AMD A10-9700 RADEON R7, 10 COMPUTE CORES 4C+6G 4 Cores and 8GB. I have done a ton of searching and all I can find is the Graphics Card is Radeon R7 Graphics. I can not find a series number of which R7. I have checked Device Manager, AMD software, dxdiag, and GPU-Z tool. They all say the same. See Screenshot:
If I try to manually change the Display to Extended (or mirrored), I get this red message and it goes back to the 'Disconnect this Display' option even though I did not select it.
If I go into the Details page I see this information. It looks connected, but once again shows it is Deactivated.
