Possible RX5700XT hardware issue?

I've been having problems with my PC recently: crashes where the bluescreen breaks up into distorted tiles and streaky noise, even a couple of crashes where it seems to have corrupted the boot process (error with LoginUI.exe - that took several tries with recovery to resolve).  sometimes it wouldn't even activate the monitor when I tried to start it.  I've given the machine a clean out in case it was temperature (although it has been happening under minimal loads) and I cannot find a pattern to when it dies.

I've done updates (usually turned off for stability but windows does have a habit of resetting the settings), removed and clean installed the graphics driver a few times, and managed to get a crash dump saved : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q0awDQnzhmrhhn7U9l35GxvMmRqYRfXA/view?usp=sharing

From what I can see on the surface the dump is a generic fault but with everything else I have a feeling this may be a hardware fault in the graphics card.  I'm looking for someone who knows much more about the dumps to help me confirm - I wouldn't want to replace it without being confident that this is the cause.

Hardware list: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Tritous/builds/#view=xmbXsY : my stress tests never got any of the internal sensors to pass ~50C so cooling is solid

Running Windows 10 pro, 19045.3996 (well I am now, no confirmation if that was the version when this started a month or so ago)

Any insight is welcome
