Graphics Cards

I was building a new machine and had the machine together using onboard graphics and the 7900 xt showed up today. I put it in the new build with the 2 8 pin power connectors. 

Result: Fans spin, but card is not detected in the PCI slot by the BIOS. 

Specs:

AMD Ryzen 9 7900X

CORSAIR HX1000i CP-9020214-NA 1000 W

GIGABYTE X670E AORUS MASTER

Troubleshooting:

- Reseated everything

- Tried a different PCI-E slot

- Took GPU from old machine and put in new machine (works)

-Took 7900 and put in old machine (Same problem)

Everything looks and feels like, to me, it doesn't get power. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You can try to update the BIOS, X670E AORUS MASTER F8c BIOS mentions "Improve memory & PCIe device compatibility".

I'm having the same problem with my 7900 xt, hopefully there is a solution soon

Sending mine back (DOA) as soon as AMD's Warranty / RMA link is back up and running.
