Multiple monitors, splitters vs graphics card

I'm using a 4 port Radeon Pro WX 3200 video card that I need to duplicate monitors on, and curious as to which is better as far as performance is concerned.  All four displays will run at 1920x1080 60 under windows 11.  If there was a performance hit, how substantial would it be?

Option 1  All monitors connected to the WX 3200 directly as:

Display 1 will mirror on Display 3 - each connected directly to the WX 3200 using Windows settings to mirror

Display 2 will mirror on Display 4 - each connected directly to the WX 3200 using Windows settings to mirror

Option 2 monitors will connect via a hardware splitter:

Display connection 1 will feed a splitter that will mirror monitors 1 & 3

Display connection 2 will feed a splitter that will mirror monitors 2 & 4

Splitter would be of quality hardware (tbd), windows would only see each splitter as one monitor even though there are two physical monitors connected to the splitter.

Thoughts ???
