Is there any point updating drivers?

I have the RX 550 4 gig. I have seen no improvement in performance in the past few updates. Is there any point in updating as I only have an AMD FX 4100 and 8 gig of DDR3, currently my GFX card is the most powerful thing I have and upgrading cpu and memory is totally out of the question.

There's never any reason to update AMD drivers unless you are having issues specifically stated as fixed in the release notes, or want a new feature stated as introduced in the release notes.

It's always a good idea to keep up to date on drivers, unless you have a specific reason. If you don't, you'd miss potential security updates, stability improvements, as well as cause unnecessary hassle should there be an issue fixed with newer drivers.
