Graphics Issues with AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series

Hi all,

I've recently been running into some issues during gameplay with a number of games. This has led to the games crashing and/or my PC entirely shutting down.

I suspect this may be some graphics-related issue as on some loading screens I'm seeing some strange defects (see attached image). This weirdly doesn't seem to appear during gameplay, but I feel it might be related.

I'm running up-to-date Windows 10 with an Intel Core i5 6400 and an AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series. This should also be up-to-date with Radeon software 20.3.1, so I can't imagine it's a drivers issue?

If anyone has any advice about resolving this I'd be really appreciative!

Thanks for your help!

I had an AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series GPU 4 years ago. I think it was Sapphire Ghz Edition. I had overheating problems and had to edit the VBIOS and use it with high fan speed settings. It also consumed very high power. A mid-segment GPU you are going to buy now will have very low power consumption. And it will not create high temperatures as well.
