Hello !!! I want some Information about my *XFX RX 580 8GB* GPU. I went to my village for 3 days and during this my room was all closed from everywhere it means there was a very small amount of oxygen/air could enter my room. The day I returned I turned my PC on and it was making some kind of noise and was not booting. After cleanup and dirt removal it starts working but on boot it shows purple and pink screen, so I went to the dealer to whom I purchased it. He told me there is a chip error and it can't be repaired and I need to buy a new GPU. He also warned me to not use GPU with my PC anymore it can damage my Motherboard. But POV is this there was just a pink screen error but GPU was performing well as it used to same FPS same Temperature and just a little error on boot. So please someone kindly tell me can I use my GPU with Motherboard or it is wasted ??
