Can Xeon motherboard handle Radeon 6900
Hi, I have a relatively old Supermicro X10DRL-I Xeon motherboard with a single XEON e5 2640v4, 32GB DDR4 (2133Mhz) running Linux, wondering if I purchase a Radeon 6900 will it be able to handle it? It's currently using a Radeon 6450 which was fine, as I only needed it to support multiple monitors. Looking to upgrade as keen to experiment with stable diffusion, but concern is that the motherboard will throttle the 6900 too much to make the price worthwhile.

You can decide for yourself. This FPS & Bottleneck website I input you Xeon Processor with a RX6900 and this the results: FPS & Bottleneck Calculator
The above can give a general idea of how much your CPU or GPU will bottleneck.
