Hi,
AMD Firepro S9100 Graphic Card working in HP Z420, Z600, Z620 Workstation?
thanks

Yes, the AMD FirePro S9100 graphics card is compatible with HP Z420, Z600, and Z620 workstations. These workstations have the necessary PCIe slots and power supply capabilities to support the FirePro S9100 card. However, it's always recommended to check the specific system requirements and compatibility information provided by HP and AMD to ensure a smooth installation and optimal performance.
Here are the specs for the HP Z620: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03270936
It doesn't mention the PSU installed but from other websites it mentions it uses a 800 Watt PSU.
Here is TechPowerUp S9100 Specs: https://www.amd.com/en/support/professional-graphics/firepro/firepro-s-series/firepro-s9100https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/firepro-s9100.c2636
Here is the latest AMD driver for the S9100 from AMD Download page: https://www.amd.com/en/support/professional-graphics/firepro/firepro-s-series/firepro-s9100
You can compare the specs from the GPU card and your Work Station as noted by Billy Feltrop. But I does seem to be compatible as long as it will fit inside your PC case.
I believe the person to answer your question is AMD Moderator for Pro GPUs @fsadough .
But I can see from AMD Download page that the S9100 is not supported with Windows 10 AMD driver updates anymore. The last was from 2015 while the AMD W7000 still is supported.
But I noticed that both the S9100 and W7000 is supported by Windows 7 and has a fairly new driver from 2021 - version 21.Q1.1 but not for Windows 10 versions for the S9100 GPU.
even though in the Release Notes for 21.Q1.1 it shows the W7000 as being compatible but not the S9100 but that might be due because of Windows 10. Since the S9100 is showing the same driver seems to indicate that the S9100 is compatible with Windows 7 but not Windows 10. just guessing.
Also for both the S9100 and W7000 the other Windows version that uses the same driver from 2014 is Windows Server 2012 R2 - 64-Bit Edition
For @fsadough to help you will need to post all of your PC information including Make & Models and Windows and AMD Driver versions installed. Plus whatever program you are trying to use those GPUs for.
Good luck and take care.
So seeing that the only thing that comes to my mind is that the W7000 GPU AMD Driver is not compatible with the older S9100 GPU depending on the Windows version you are using.

Hi,
thanks a lot for your answer.
I'v built into the HP Z620 two AMD card ( firepro W7000 and firepro s9100 ) , both exist in the device manager and in the amd software, but the s9100 always the second and passiv in many configuration too. I please you to tell me, if you know already, what did I do wrong, or I can photos upload with more information about it.
Thanks for patience
