My monitor asus tuf vg259 and my gpu sapphire rx 5700 xt nitro+, won't let me change with 144hz bpc from 6 to 8 from radeon settings but 120hz is capable to. My monitor is capable with 144hz to get 8-bit but it shows from windows settings that that's cap, just shows me 6-bit. I have tried with 1.2 displayport and a 1.4 displayport but it won't help. Is my gpu just failing or am I missing on something?

Try setting the color depth in the AMD software settings.  And if it still gives you problems, try a different cable.

It gives me black screen and then gets back to 6bpc. I have tried with 3 different cables and yet non have worked
