6650 XT Black screen at random and low fps in specific games

Ever since replacing my previous GPU with my current Radeon RX 6650 XT, I have been experiencing random freezes and black screens. Both monitors will freeze, turn black, then after a couple seconds will come back to normal and show that I hit 100% CPU in task manager. Also, when launching Overwatch 2 in particular, my framerate drops to barely playable levels, sometimes as low as 10 fps. After a few minutes, usually around 5-10 minutes, it will return to normal on its own and I will have absolutely no framerate issues. Neither of these issues happened with my previous GPU and only began after replacing it with the current one. I only just bought this GPU a few weeks ago and I think I have the latest drivers. I've tried wiping all drivers and reinstalling them multiple times, but the problems persist. Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue? Is it an issue with my GPU? Maybe other hardware could be interfering? I also got a new CPU and motherboard around 6 months ago so I know they aren't worn out.

The issue of random freezes and black screens, along with high CPU usage, seems to be a common problem with the AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT graphics card. One possible solution is to manually tune the GPU to run at a higher max frequency or wait for an update to fix the problem. Another suggestion is to check if the GPU is running at the correct frequency and to make sure that the power supply is sufficient for the GPU.
As for the low FPS issue in Overwatch 2, it could be related to the game's optimization or compatibility with the GPU. It is recommended to check if the game is running on the correct graphics card and to try updating the game or the GPU drivers. It is also worth noting that some users have reported similar issues with the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™. Therefore, it may be worth checking if the software is up to date and trying to reinstall it.

Hi Billy, thanks for the help. I have a 600W power supply and AMD apparently recommends 550W for a 6650 XT, so I think I'm ok there. I've tried reinstalling Adrenalin multiple times, but I'll try it again. When you say manually tune the GPU, I'm assuming you're talking about overclocking, which I've never done before. Is that done in AMD Adrenalin? Will that void my warranty? What about the lifetime of the card?
