5600xt lost signal in 1 minutes after logged into Ubuntu on B550 motherboard

SYSTEM: ubuntu 20.04.4

GPU: Asrock challenger prop 5600xt

GPU Driver: amdgpu-pro v21.50.2 (Latest)

Motherboard: ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi

Motherboard bios: v2604 (Latest)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G

PSU: 1000.00 uW

 

What happens:

Login to Ubuntu, everything will work as expected. After 1 minutes or 2, monitor screen suddenly show lost signals message, and the GPU looks being power off (Fans stop running)

That is strangely similar to windows 10 interference with AMD display drivers.

I don't know the equivalent of checking Linux OS for file integrity issues but it couldn't hurt to try.

You may want to check your OS personal configurations and see if any of them were changed without your direct control.

A clean factory reset install of your GPU drivers and software is the first thing I would try.

There are Linux users in the community hopefully this response will get their attention to provide you better assistance. Sorry I have no experience with Linux operating systems.
