5600XT is mining at low hashrate

Hi I am running
Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
amdgpu-pro-20.20 driver

my 5600XT has a very slow hash rate

tried two both mining software teamreadminer and ethminer

with Three Radeon 580 A which work well at 22 Mh
just installed a 5600XT only producing 3.07Mh

any thoughts ?
thanks

After weeks of beating my head against this wall, I have decided to give up on AMD GPU's. The drivers are just total crap. I've tried every combination of amdgpu driver and OS that I can get ahold of, and none of them work. Nvidia drivers work with minimal headache on any OS. I don't see much hope that AMD is planning to fix it either.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Hi

Thanks for the tuning advice for windows

The issue is I am using Ubuntu  20.04 LTS and getting 6 MHS and when I run the same rig on Windows I get quite a good hash rate of 37 MHS

So I amusing the issue is with AMGPU Pro driver from AMD for Ubuntu

kind regards

Ewww, have to install windows to mine with this card? That's a real drag.

I hear some of these cards are bios pre-flashed and other aren't... Perhaps the updated flash fixes the linux driver issue?

Hi all

I finally got it working

with this config

Unbuntu 20.04.1 LTS

Some how  I upgraded the kernal to  5.8 - I think this is part of the general updates to ubuntu

I believe Ubuntu 5.8 is required

and

the amgpu-Pro 20.45 driver

I hope this helps

@kingfish

I am not "our resident miner".

I do not do GPU Mining.
I use MultiGPU Blender Rendering.
I use AMD  MultiGPU OpenCL Compute.

I moved all my new Blender and Compute projects to Nvidia.

Thanks.
