My 9 yr old Dell XPS 8920 was recently upgraded from the OG Radeon 480 to the Radeon RX 6600. All software/firmware is up-to-date. Why do I only get audio output via a bluetooth speaker and/or my gaming headset (via bluetooth or usb)? The old one routed audio through my tv without issue (Samsung 55" curve, which is actually my main monitor). Yes, I know I can just use other speakers, not a problem. It's just a little aggravating because it gets old wearing a headset all the time and and Echo Dot doesn't make the best speaker for home theater stuff...
If it's not supposed to support audio, I guess I'll get over it. Just doesn't make sense to me why the old one would support audio but the new one doesn't. And no, I never needed to use other speakers before. Tv & pc are almost the same age and have always been used together.
