Why AMD don't apologize?

17553ecef5c1d8d2.jpg

The theme of the computer itself is Korean K-pop stars, but the background is the Rising Sun Flag, a symbol of the Empire of Japan, a war criminal country. It feels like a metaphor that Korea belongs to the Empire of Japan. But it's not. Korea does not belong to the Empire of Japan. It is an independent country. Koreans have sovereignty and do not listen to any orders from Japan. Also, the Empire of Japan had fallen.

That means AMD officially declared the political view of them that Korea's independence is invalid and that it is a subordinate state of Japan?

Simply erasing a post is not a problem that will be solved. A sincere apology is important to us. You didn't delete the post right away. You even modified and uploaded photos to deceive people as if pictures were no problem. But then the post was deleted because there was no room for public opinion to subside.

If AMD does not defend a war criminal state, then,

Apologize to the countries that were robbed, exploited, and raped by the Empire of Japan.

Explain why AMD posted the post and the responsibilities AMD haven't looked at properly before posting it.

AMD regrets that a photo of a custom PC was posted on the AMD Philippines Facebook account showing the pattern of the Japanese Rising Sun Flag which offended many of our fans and consumers. AMD has deleted the photo.

We are sorry for the disappointment and promise to be more sensitive to cultural issues in the future.
