Very low fps on mw2
Hello!
I have a 6800 with 5800x3d and get very low fps.
8 fps average with 1 fps low.
Other games like metro exodus or Rust work perfectly.
I am using the newest amd driver with the newest Windows and motherboard driver.
I also tried older drivers but they didn't work.
I tried changing rendereworkerthread, clearing shaders, reinstalling, changing the game to m2 ssd but nothing works.
And i know that my gpu/cpu is strong enough because a few days ago played this game on high graphics with 140 fps
I also checked the windows firewall but nothing helps.
Any ideas that I could use to make this game run again?

You could verify game files. You could run DDU uninstall drivers, and reinstall drivers from AMDs support page. You could try running SFC / scanner in an elevated command prompt to check for files system corruption. You could run try dism commands in elevated powershell to repair possible issues with your Windows image. There are probably other things that could be causing it that I am just forgetting. You said other games run perfectly. You could use HWinfo64 and check thermals to see if maybe MW2 is just making your PC thermal throttle. It seems unlikely though.

Any chance you found a resolution? Issue with a 5800x3d paired with a 3090. Similar issues

Have you checked thermals to ensure you aren't being thermal throttled?
