Used tray type processor?

I recently purchased a tray type ryzen 7 5700x at a local store here in my country. I had it shipped to me the same day and when it arrived, I noticed that the processor had fingerprints and small dents/scratches. On the side, there's also a mark which was probably from a thermal paste that wasn't properly cleaned.

I immediately informed the store and confirmed if the chip is brand new. They assured and told me that it is brand new. As for the photos, they mentioned that tray type processors are susceptible to such condition since they are shipped in a tray, etc.

Here are some of the photos, is this normal for brand new tray type processors?

Dents and scratches are a bit worrying. If the store says it’s new,  just make sure to test it out and see if it works fine. If everything runs smoothly, But definitely keep in touch with the store in case something comes up!
