Hi everyone,

I cannot play/launch COD HQ or black ops 6 beta (when it comes out tomorrow) because I am unable to install the new driver 24.8.1. I have an RX 580 which actually should be compatible for playing MWIII because I meet the minimum driver requirements. Now, I am stuck on the driver 24.3.1 still because AMD is stopping me from installing the new driver. Let me know anyone else has issues here. Hope AMD or someone out there has a solution to this.

I was able to update to new driver 24.8.1 but still unable to launch COD without it freezing on a black screen while booting up.  I have a Ryzen 7 7700 and Radeon RX7900GPE

I,m having the same problem i want to play BO6 beta but i won´t install the 24.8.1 driver it says it´s not compatible and the minimum requeriment for the beta is an RX 470

this is the pop up i get too which is insane bc we have the minimum requirement. I even saw someone on youtube who is able to play it, making this more frustrating

This is a common complaint. Some have reported success with older drivers. Please search for other threads such as:

I managed to play on 24.7.1 but it crashed after a hour
