StoreMI and NAS in RAID 1

My question is about using StoreMI with a NAS. I want to build a system using a Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra gaming mobo, Ryzen 7 2700 processor, Samsung 970 SSD and Synology NAS in RAID 1.

  My question is, can the StoreMI support Windows 10 on the SSD AND the NAS in RAID 1, given it cannot support RAID 1 directly on the motherboard and can only support 2 physical drives?

Yes, I read both docs but even though the Quick Start guide states "No other SSD caching or AMD RAID solutions installed" StoreMI should not see a RAID 1 as it is controlled solely by the NAS controller and should appear as an external hard drive device, i.e. StoreMI has no knowledge it is talking to a RAID.

Was hoping someone had tried this and could confirm or refute for us.
