rx6700xt vs rx7600xt

looking to upgrade my gpu for an entry level 1440p card like the 6700 or 7600. i can buy a used 6700 for about $320 after taxes and shipping but i found a brand new 7600 for the same price. i know the 6700 typically offers a little better performance. but i’m wondering if for the same price with it being newer, more vram 16vs12gb is it worth it to get the 7600. my cpu currently to pair is 11400f i5. any other cards for the same price you all would recommend please feel free to let me know. just looking for best bang for my buck, not looking for anything crazy but just a decent card that can run 1440p at decent settings.

Is the offer an RX 6700 or a 6700 XT? If the case is a 6700 XT, go for that one. But also if possible, can you wait 2 or 3 months for the RX 9060 series which theoretically will have the same performance and good prices?

Don't know about 7600XT but I have a 6700XT and I have been very happy with it, upgraded from an RX 480 in 2021. But like @helixo56 said above, might want to wait since new series is coming soon and even if the new stuff doesn't interest you it might bring better deals for earlier cards.

The upcomming RX9000 series uses almost double the power usage regarding their counterparts so i do not see a reason to wait for those cards unless you need extra heating during winter.

And as far as i can tell from reviewers, the uplift is not worth the price at all.

So get the RX6700 XT unless you need  the AV1 encoding embedded in the RX7600 XT.

But even better, get the ARC B580 if you are a content creator and/or streamer.
