To be honest, I would not choose an RX6500 XT at all.

How much are you willing to pay, and how much does a RX 6500 XT cost you? They perform similar to an RX 580. If you can get a cheaper used RX 580 8GB, I would buy it.

Will you be using it for gaming?

Yep,I will be using it for gaming, the rx 6500 will cost me 220$,the problem with the rx 580 8gb is,I can't buy it used cuz it's propably mined with and it sells for a very high price rn (even used) + I don't understand why most people hate on the rx 6500 I mean it's almost equal to 1650 super on PCIe 4 and it's better than 1650 on PCIe 3 and the cheapest 1650 u can find will propably cost u 350$ (min.) So,until gpu prices return to msrp or I can afford a high end gpu I think I am gonna stick with the rx 6500

I completely understand. In that case, I would get the cheapest one. It doesn´t seem like a GPU that will have temperature issues.

Both reference design so pick what you like. If you asked about this one and 3 cooler version there's obvious difference.

This GPU pros:

- price

- low wattage(it can work with 300W PSU),

- high performance with compact size combined.

Cons:

- low performance when used PCIE 3,

- 4 GB VRAM only,

- low performance with ray tracing,

- no AV1 decoder,

- no h264\265 encoder - stream with cpu only,

- some incompatibility issues with motherboards and hdmi cables - you never know if it your case.

Quick update:I ended up going with rx 6600 gigabyte triple fans I found it on newegg for 340$,anyway,I am trying to find a cheap 600w psu that won't ruin my pc.

Any ideas?

@Exanthosyou can use less powerful PSU for this GPU. I recommend to use Seasonic 80 gold+.

Before buying try to look at google for problems of that specific PSU - just check if it can work more than 3 years without issues, Seasonic PSU for example have 6 or more years of warranty but it cost twice as PSU that have warranty for only 2-3 years.
