Rx 6750xt problem black screen

  • Hello everyone,

I recently bought a brand new XFX RX 6750 XT graphics card. When I installed it, everything went smoothly—I had display output, and I was able to enter Windows normally. However, when I started installing the drivers for the graphics card, I clicked on the driver to open it, and then the screen went black with no display. I first tried restarting the PC, but I only see the motherboard logo and then the screen goes black again. The fans of the graphics card also shut off. I tried updating the BIOS, but that didn't change anything. I checked to ensure everything was properly connected. I suspect it might be related to the power supply, as it's not from a very well-known brand.

Here is my configuration:

  • Motherboard: Aorus B450 Elite V2
  • Graphics Card: RX 6750 XT (XFX model)
  • Power Supply: Urano VX 650W
  • RAM: 2x8 Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz
  • cpu : r5 5500

I hope you can help!

the issue could be related to your power supply or a driver conflict. The RX 6750 XT requires a stable and sufficient power supply, and the Urano VX 650W may not be delivering the needed performance, especially if it's a lower-quality brand. Try using a higher-quality PSU (at least 650W from a reputable brand) and reinstall the graphics drivers in Safe Mode to avoid conflicts. Additionally, check your BIOS settings to ensure the discrete GPU is set as the primary display output. If the problem persists, testing the card in another system could help confirm whether the issue is with the GPU or your current setup.
