After some problems back with blower fans and howling I have avoided them ever since. I wish AMD wold do like they did with the Radeon VII and use a multifan solution which is far quieter.

I was looking at the FX 5700 and FX 5700 XT at newegg

Partner cards are going to be here next month if you can wait.  I forgot which review I saw but these blower fans are quieter than previous cards.

somebody put a SPL meter beside the machine and played games, the blower was very audible on the FX 5700 with a benchmark

The Radeon VII is quieter?  Looks like the 5700 series and Radeon VII produce the identical noise levels.

Yes both are way too loud. I thought is was funny in one of those 5600xt reviews that was saying they are too hot. They said at least they aren't as hot as Vega II and compared them to a Nuclear Reactor. Made me LOL.
