If true, this does not bode well for those of us hoping Intel would force AMD and nVidia to return GPU prices to normal, pre cryptomining levels, and not this age of inflated prices...Is pretty reasonable though given both Intel's 10nm process problems and the fact Intel's GPU team has to cobble together a GPU from scratch which doesn't infringe on any of AMD's or nVidia's patents.

Intel is probably going to use Xe with mobile for a while before they can find a groove that is competitive

I wouldn't be holding my breath waiting for a significant price drop on GPU's. Corporations funnel the money to Profits. Not to consumers. The bar will just get higher, not lower.
